The WARM Place is an agency that provides peer-support groups for children and families after the death of a loved one. The organization facilitates a safe environment for children to express feelings and emotions while interacting with peers in similar circumstances. JLFW volunteers act as discussion leaders in children’s grief support groups on a monthly basis.

The Women's Center of Tarrant County, Inc. enables women, especially women in crisis and transition, to solve problems and search out opportunities to build better futures for women, families, and communities. Programs include the Women's Help Line, Employment Services, Rape Crisis Intervention and Prevention, and Community Awareness and Advocacy.

YWCA Teen Parent Support Program

The YWCA Teen Parent Support Program is a 10-12 week program that enables teenage parents to achieve a higher level of independence, self-esteem, and self-sufficiency through education and employment preparation. JLFW members act as administrative assistants, discussion leaders, role models, and child development aids.
